For the last few months, I've been giving a pair of the Sudio Vasa Blå wireless headphones a whirl, so I thought I'd do a little run down on the experience.
Look, I'm actually a bit of a tech dork. Sometimes working out how to get the photos from my iPhone to my computer is an epic task. I only just discovered the goodness that is Airdrop on my Mac, really. So having to pair a set of wireless headphones to my phone (for example) via bluetooth was enough to worry me. It was so easy though. The small info manual that came with the headphones made it super clear, and with the push of a few buttons, she was working a treat. I was set, music flowing... if only I'd had somewhere to go!
I'm a lover of popping in the headphones while I get a bit of housework done, and to be honest, up until now, I just used the set of headphones that came along with my iPhone. They're nothing special, but the do the trick. I always thread the headphones up through my shirt, so the cord doesn't get in the way, or get pulled out. Particularly while doing the vacuuming, or mopping. Similarly, while walking. I alway love to put a bit of music in while taking the girls out for a walk in the pram, but having that cord in the way can sometimes cause a problem. In the very least it can be extremely annoying if it happens to get caught on something and gets pulled out repeatedly. So the wireless function is amazing! Having hands free as a busy mum is a big plus, but generally in any situation. As well as the wireless bluetooth function here are a few of the other standout features;
- 8 hour battery life
- A weight of only 14 grams
- 10m range
Each set comes with a variety of different sized earbuds, and this is the only difficulty I found with them. No matter which size i changed it to, I still couldn't get them to sit comfortably in my ears. However, my hubby tried them, and loves them, he had absolutely no difficultly at all. Whether this has something to do with the fact that he's used to wearing wireless earphones, he does daily with his own set while he cycles, or whether it's more to do with the fact that I just have horribly gumby ear canals, I'm not sure. In saying that, it's still not enough to make them overly annoying to use. I guess i'm just constantly aware that they're in my ears... apart from the obvious reason of music playing from them of course.
I suppose the biggest drawcard for me, was the style and beauty of these headphones. Never before had I considered headphones to be a stylish item, until now. The stunning contrast between white and rose gold accents is gorgeous. In fact, all colour combos in the Vasa Blå range are gorgeous, it doesn't really matter which you choose. If headphones are something that you use regularly, like sitting on public transport while heading to work, then you can consider these a stylish accessory to your outfit. Almost like a casual piece of jewellery, you can't say that about many headphones!
